Examination Information - Summer 2023

The attached documents show the timetables for both the GCE and GCSE exams this summer. Students have been issued with their own individual timetables.

2023 GCE and GCSE Timetable

The awarding bodies have designated Wednesday 28 June 2023 as a ‘contingency day’ for examinations. The designation of a ‘contingency day’ within the common examination timetable is in the event of national or significant local disruption to examinations in the United Kingdom.

We remind candidates that they must remain available until this date should an awarding body need to invoke its contingency plan.

Also attached are documents from the JCQ - who regulate the exams - which we urge you to read and discuss with your son/daughter as they contain important details about how exams are run and the expectations of how the students will behave as well as how the exam bodies use the information about the students.

Please highlight that notes, phones and watches are not allowed in the exam room and possession of these in the exam room - even if they aren't intending to use them - is subject to penalty and possible disqualification.
