Life beyond St Bernard's & Alumni

Advice on future career opportunities is provided to all students in various different ways that are appropriate to their age and development.

In Key Stage 3, pupils focus on life in the world of work through our Citizenship and  Personal,  Social, Health and Economic Education Programme.

In addition, pupils in Key Stage 4 have the opportunity to receive careers advice and guidance through our careers service and connexions programme.

Our Sixth Form students participate in, leadership conferences, interactive programmes with a wide range of visiting speakers, careers fairs and visits to Universities.

The majority of our pupils go on to university, after completing their studies at St Bernard's Catholic Grammar School Sixth Form.

“We have a proud tradition of preparing our students for Oxbridge examinations with pupils being admitted year on year”

We value continued association with our former students, many of whom make significant contributions through the Alumni Association to our school community, such as attending Presentation Evening and mentoring our senior students.
